Announcing: Global Field Trip Challenge

Invite your students to share their community with the world in the PenPal Schools Global Field Trip Challenge! In this challenge, each student assumes the role of tour guide as they guide PenPals from around the world through a special place in their community. ​

Students can choose to create a slideshow with photos, a video, or even a VR field trip. Your students might choose to highlight a historic site, a local museum, a favorite restaurant, a sports venue, or any other place that makes their community special.

This special contest is designed to help students develop important writing, presentation, and technology skills while sharing their community with the world.

Joining the Global Field Trip Challenge takes just three easy steps: 

1. Sign up for the World Explorer PenPal topic.
2. Encourage your students to select the “Global Field Trip Challenge” project option. 
3. Students must submit their field trips by November 1st to be eligible to win prizes including a PenPal Schools Swag Pack and a feature on our blog!
