Introducing New Student Updates to PenPal Schools

Our team has been working around the clock and we are excited to introduce the new and improved PenPal Schools student experience!

We made the student experience easier to navigate on desktop and mobile devices. To better support students across ages and abilities, our new experience eliminates distractions so students can focus on creating projects and collaborating with PenPals.

Students can easily navigate between active topics on the new student dashboard.

The new experience gives students more choice to exercise their agency. When students join your PenPal Schools classroom, their project options are front and center. Each topic includes a list of great project options that help students practice 21st century skills in a contextualized and collaborative way.

Once students join your PenPal Schools classroom they choose the project that they want to create.

The new experience helps students stay focused on their projects and their learning goals. The projects that students select remain front and center through the new student dashboard. Guiding questions, lesson objectives, and assessment criteria are now just a click away.

Students can refer back to their project as any time as they navigate between supporting lessons and collaborate with PenPals from around the world.
